Children are future conservationists who can help to spread the message about conservation, and through them, adults in the local community can learn to be more responsible and become more proactive in the protection of wildlife.

ECOWICE runs a green club called SAVE WILD CLUB that operates to primary and secondary schools adjacent wildlife and forest areas.

Wildlife games

Pupils are involved to play games that enable them to learn wildlife behaviors, food, and habitats. Through that, they are able to understand the ecological relationship between people and wildlife and the significance of conserving wildlife areas.

Environmental cleanliness

Making the environment clean and safe for wildlife and people is one of the main goal for SAVE WILD club. Pupils are involved to clean wildlife preferred areas like river and bushes.

Tree planting

Tree cutting for charcoal and farming are the main activities that drive deforestation to the wildlife corridor and migratory area of Mikumi national park. SAVE WILD club is running tree planting project that aim to restore the degraded areas. The project involves establishment of tree nursery establishment and tree plating
