With the aim of restoring the forest that has been degraded, the club has started a tree nursery that will provide tree seedlings for planting in areas where trees have been lost due to charcoal production and farming. Members will grow seeds that were collected from the forest on world environmental day this year.
They are expecting to grow more than 5000 tree seedlings that will be distributed to schools and farmer groups.
